
Vladimir Ilibajev
Born in Ventspis, Latvia in 1952
Graduated Higer Military political school in Sverdlovsk (1970-1974).
Studied 2 years in Moscow State University, the faculty of philosophy.
Graduated St. Peterburg Fine Arts Academy in 1988.
One of the founders of Moscow artists group "Vernisage"(1987),"Free art" group in Riga (1989)
and one of the founders of the association of Russian Artists of Latvia (1997).
Since 1990 have hosted 5 antiquarian auctions.
Have worked a lot with icons (5 personal exhibitions).
Paintings can be found in private collections and galleries(including Mikhail Barishnikov's-Paris)
